This is a new band formed this fall by the underground label 「misshitsu neurose」 which has also produced cali≠gari and ムック. The members' backgrounds, real names, ages, etc. are unknown. Cryptic words that come out of their mouths tend to make people think, "Are they serious about their music?" But, as they themselves are proud to say, they are playing music for fun. Although they seem to think of music only as a way to pass the time, since they each have their own day jobs, the music they make is for people who like music of the mid-80s to early 90s (so-called new wave, post punk, goth, etc.). The age group that is most likely to understand music of "lab." is 26 years old or older. Whether this music will be accepted by people in their teens and early twenties, is an issue for the future.
